No thank God, we switched from NS Router to straight IP about three yearas ago. Then we would really have been in trouble! As for changing emulation products, well, then we get into the politics of trying to change an SOE, and being a humble AS/400 techie I try not to get involved in things like that.....besides, I've educated a few users to the benefits of using Ops Navigator for printing, copying text files, that sort of thing, so we'll probably stay with Client Access/iSeries Access for the moment. If over TCP/IP then it is a no brainer to switch over. They probably won't even notice. What feature of CA are they using at the desktop? If just display and printer you can effect the changeover most simply. Other packages like Synapse IP Client (www.synapse.com) are much less invasive on the desktop and simpler to install, maintain and use. You might consider rolling out something else in this case.
