Actually a bulk of our problems was just trying to get more than one 5250
session per user. But, Andrew, maybe your security requirements there say
that isn't going to happen anyway, therefore you haven't been exposed, in
bulk, to the issue.

Subject: V5R2 with Client Access V3

We upgraded to V5R2 while still having some users on V3*
(too many
salespeople spread out across the US). If all they need is 5250
emulation,
don't worry about it. The bells-and-whistles options (Ops Nav, Data
Transfer, etc.) get flaky with any prior release.

Since we have those enhanced options controlled via exit
points, it
was fairly easy to develop a list of "power users" that had to be
upgraded.

Is anyone on V5R2 and connecting with Client Access V3**
?

We will of course keep pushing them to upgrade even if
they can
connect to
V5R2, but I need to know if this is a show stopper.
(We're
installing new
825s that requies V5R2 which they want ASAP, so I guess
they will
upgrade
their Client Access versions in a hurry if they have to).
