Frank, are you asking how to turn your spool file into a MS Word document, or how to use SNDDST to email a MS Word document? If you have an MS Word document in a folder (i.e. in the QDLS part of the IFS), you can attach it and send it using SNDDST. Alternatively, you can use David Leland's SNDEMAIL utility, which doesn't require that the document be under QDLS. Converting the spool file to a MS Word document, though -- that's different. I don't know how to do that. . . . hth, Midrange Systems Technical Discussion <midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> writes: >I created an overlay for a printer file and it prints out ok and it faxes >ok. I can send emails to myself from the iSeries just fine using >SNDDST but I don't >how to attach a Word doc. Would someone help me out with this?
