Hi Mark,

The Teklogix 7035 RF Scanner has IBM 5250 support built into it. If it will
let you configure a TN5250E printer session for the Zebra printer, you
should choose *WSCST for the Manufacturer Type and Model and then QWPDEFAULT
in library QUSRSYS as the workstation customization object. This choice will
insure that your IBM server only sends text with carriage return, line feed,
and form feed to the printer.

The Zebra wireless printers do not use the same printer language as their
desktop printers. The desktop printers use the Zebra Programming Language
(ZPL). Many RPG programmers know about ZPL.

The wireless printers use a language called CPL. The programmer's manual can
be downloaded for free from the Zebra web site. The printer command language
is all plain text so entering a CPL label format into RPG shouldn't contain
any surprises.

So far, I haven't had to code a sample label program, using CPL commands,
for anyone yet. I would be happy to share such a program with you in the
future if we have to build one for a customer.

Best Regards,

/Paul
