Yes, in my opinion, Raid would be better in this application because of the
heavy write vs. read.  In truth I personally like Raid better that
mirroring for several reasons.  Write performance is only one of them.  The
Journal Cache would not likely help because of the type of application, HA
with DataMirror if I remember.  You really want to get that journal record
written as soon as possible.
