Correct.  I couldn't remember the exact statement, but now that I see 
it, you're eactly right.  And LR was set on also.

--      Jeff, it probably works the same way as job temporary files.
           The first program , on continue-yes, leaves the spool file open
           The next, can continue writing spooled reports to it, until a 
continue-no. or
                                                              an absence of a 
continue is sensed.
           Then LR goes on.
