IMHO, I think that David IS the moderator and he IS the one that defines the
game rules.  We use the service, and that is it.  Although customers drive
requirements, we must follow procedures as well.  There are controls, standards,
restrictions and rights he can apply and grant and we respect that as a group (I
guess).

I think that what is required from us is pretty simple and humanly possible.  In
addition to David's recommendations, I might want to mention the group to:

a) Do a REPLY on the email instead of a REPLY WITH HISTORY.  This is basically
what David is requesting NOT to do.  (Guys, that is simple.)

b) Do not change the original subject.  It also confuses sometimes, specially
when you put "you subject" and add the original one, between parenthesis and the
famous "...".

I have learned a lot from you guys (MAPICS, Midrange, Non-Midrange, RPG400,
WEB400 and others.  You really are awesome and keep up the energy and enthusiasm
that this list is characterized.  But I really have to recognize that the
initiative and brilliant implementation of this service by David has provided us
with the communication tools we all needed so bad.

Again, this is IMHO and I just want to say that I really respect the
professionalism and capacities of all my peers and fellow I.T. brothers and
sisters out there.
