Here is my V5R2 Install time log in case anyone still needs to install V5R2.

System is a 270

Friday
======
18:00 Start an option 21 save
19:20 Option 21 save is done
19:20 Did a VFYIMGCLG (I'm trying the install from image catalog)
19:25 Did a STRVRTINS
19:35 After verifying it started, went home, had supper and 2 brewskis.

Saturday
========
06:40 Arrived to find signon screen!
Some LICPGMs show status as *INSTALLED.
After some detective work, I found that the F2924 volumes
I put in the image catalog apparently did not load.
07:05 Installed 5798-FAX, 5722-AC3, and 5722-CE3 directly from
CD. The log showed the latter 2 were already installed.
07:20 Could not get the PTF c u m to install from the other
        image catalog I set up.
07:25 Installed the PTF c u m from the CDs. (456 PTFs!)
07:58 IPL start.
08:30 Sign on display appears. (over 13 mins in PTF apply)
08:34 Start all group PTFs load & apply. (348 PTFs!)
09:20 Load new version of TAATOOLS.
09:34 IPL start.
10:05 Sign on display appears. (3 mins on PTF apply)
10:10 INZSYS completes normally (it would have earlier except
I got in a $&@*$# hurry and started the PTF stuff before
       it was finished.)
10:12 Check QSTRUP program for anything new. No changes needed.
10:18 Test: email works, client access works, salespeople can
transmit orders. Time for a backup.
10:33 Start backup.
13:00 Call in from home, backup done.

Something to follow up on =========================

I have 4 licensed programs that show status *INSTALLED instead of *COMPATIBLE. They are:

5722AC3 *INSTALLED Crypto Access Provider 128-bit for AS/400
5769AS1 *INSTALLED IBM WebSphere Application Server
5722CE3 *INSTALLED Client Encryption 128-bit
5798FAX *INSTALLED IBM Facsimile Support for iSeries

Should I be worried?
