RE: SQL Delete

your delete can't delete because there is more than 1 file in the from
clause.

you will probably have to have to do something like this:

delete
  from file
 where keyfield not in (select field from otherfile1 where... etc)
   and keyfield2 not in (select field2 from otherfile2 where... etc)


test it with a select first (just like you did before.)
