Hi,
I've got a confusing thing going on here. In an application I wrote, I need
to retrieve the splf(s) generated in a batch process. I've been using the
jobname equal to the RPG name that generated the report(s). And, this has
been working.

But, in another process I've just implemented, the job name comes out to be
the name of the CL running the RPG program(s). The only thing I can see
different is that the first process is run by a CLP and the second a CLLE.
These are both submitted jobs, very similar in structure, and apparently
running at the same "call level".

What determines the JOB name (as shown on the splf attributes)? What I WANT
to happen is for the JOB name to be the RPG name, like it was before this
came up. This answer may reside in the Work Management manual, which is
something I've not been into very much.

Anyone have any wisdom to share on this?

TIA
