Mark, I did that when I went to V5R1 over all the JDE libraries. As I recall, it was just a V5R1 thing coming over from V4R5. I am going to do some more poking around and see what I can come up with here. I have a full system backup scheduled to run at 01:00 AM tomorrow morning along with an IPL. If it is still DEAD TOAD slow, I will in fact run object conversion over the libs. Thanks! Mike Shaw -----Original Message----- We had to run the STROBJCVN command on our database files after upgrading from V4R5 to V5R2 but I do not know if that was because of a change at V5R1, V5R2 or both. If you have some free time, it can't hurt to run it. To: <MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx> cc: bcc: Subject: Model 270 At V5R2 Is Dead Toad Slow Running JDE One World....... "Mike Shaw" <mhshaw@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent by: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx 04/12/2003 08:11 AM MST Please respond to Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Folks, I upgraded our 270 development box from V5R1 to V5R2 on Thursday. The install went well and all seems good so far other than the fact that JDE's One World package is running very, very slow...The latest PTF CUME and JDE's required PTF's were applied to the 270 as part of the V5R2 upgrade. We are current on PTF's. Has anyone who has done this upgrade seen this going from V5R1 to V5R2? I remember we had to do some extra stuff going to V5R1 to force object conversion. Do we need to do that at V5R2 as well? I have an 830 production box to go up to V5R2 next month...I need to get this resolved or that will be postponed... Thanks!
