You may want to try our solution called Print2000. This solution gives you a real TCP/IP TN5250e connection (no use of Host Transform) and a real Device on your AS/400 (you can get rid off all rmtoutq problems). If you want, you can download a 20 days evaluation copy from our web: www.compumaster.com -----Messaggio originale----- Da: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx]Per conto di Sannan Solberg Inviato: giovedì 10 aprile 2003 19.31 A: 'Midrange Systems Technical Discussion' Oggetto: RE: Printer Help...Ricoh Aficio 700 Setup.. I'm having a similar problem with a Ricoh AP206 model. They don't support PJL so don't bother with setting up a device via CRTPRTDEV and *LAN device. I set mine up (just like hundreds of others but none are Ricoh's) as a RMT outq with an IP address. I try to print something to it and it disappears off the 400 but never shows up on the printer! We verified the IP address and I can ping it, etc... It's just weird and I've tried quite a few things. -----Original Message----- From: Hatzenbeler, Tim [mailto:thatzenbeler@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, April 10, 2003 10:53 AM To: 'Midrange Systems Technical Discussion' Subject: Printer Help...Ricoh Aficio 700 Setup.. Printer Help...Ricoh Aficio 700 Setup.. I was wondering if any one, might have a 'wrkdevd' config for this printer... It's connected directly into our IP network, and for some reason, I can print to it, using a rmtprtwtr, but when I tried to give it, it's own devd, it doesn't seem to work, I get a msgw, that can't be answered with a reply... something about, not being availabe.. and the device is varied on, and I did strprtwtr, and it is sitting with a rls/wtr status... This printer is the ricoh photocopier model...
