Posting to news.gmane.org

After setting up a news account that points at news.gmane.org (access is
free, no password required), I now can view the messages at various
midrange.com lists thru the Outlook Express newsreader.  I am a also
subscriber to the IPCop-user mailing list, which also uses the Mailman
software.

In other words, can I now read _and_ post messages to the various
midrange.com mailing lists (that I am subscribe to) via news.gmane.org, and
stop receiving the email messages that Mailman sends?  Below is a snippet of
a currently active thread from the IPCop-user mailing list.  Is this also
applicable to the Midrange.com mailing lists?
