Not if they want stuff to print, it isn't.  

Every vendor has a hardware compatibility list that software customers
ignore at their own peril.  Say I have a customer that has an iSeries and no
PC's: only Mac and Unix.  When it comes time for them to configure their
iSeries they will not be able to run iSeries Navigator on that hardware.
They will have four choices:
1) Buy Fly By Night's green screen ONcmd.
2) Write their own green screen interface using the APIs.
3) Not configure their iSeries.
4) Buy Windows.

If you are a trading partner of these companies, then you can strongly
suggest they deploy printers on the list.  If they refuse, your company will
need to weigh the cost of accommodating them.  That's the price of doing
business.
