I saw TSM mentioned in the following.
http://www.as400.ibm.com/service/brms/domino.htm
We have TSM but are currently only using it to back up stuff not on our
iSeries'. Yes, TSM is running on the iSeries.
I personally do not know much about TSM. Our help desk knows more.

There is a TSM list supported by marist.edu. You can try sending your
SUBSCRIBE command to LISTSERV@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Read the subscription email
carefully. You may wish to send the command that says don't let people
see my name when they ask for a list of members. I am trying to figure
out if that might be where my spam increased from. The volume on this
list is QUITE large. The combined emails from midrange-l, rpg-l, code400,
wdsc, etc are nothing compared to the volume on the TSM list. Lots of
people use TSM on a large variety of platforms.

Then there is this list:

I am trying to backup a domino server loaded on my 400. I have loaded the
TDP for Domino and the TSM API for OS/400. The documentation is very
slim,
although it points me to a "Tivoli Storage Manager using The API IBM
documber # SH26-4123" and "Tivoli Storage Manager Installing The Clients
IBM Document # SH26-4102". I can't find either of these in a PDF online.
All the IBM sites lead me to a purchase site, and I really didn't want
that
kind of wait.

I've never used Tivoli with the 400. All the existing backups are done
with operating system level commands like SAVSYS and SAVLIB. I don't have
BRMS or Robot Save. Can somebody give me a primer on how to set this up
to
go to our Tivoli Storage Manager? I'm trying to prove we could
consolidate
a dozen Notes Mail servers on a single 400 and continue to use our
existing
backup infrastructure for these Mail servers. I know I will not be able
to
backup the system to Tivoli due to the inability to get to the TSM in a
restricted state. However, all I want to be able to backup to Tivoli is
just the Domino server and it's data. Is anybody doing anything like
this?

Thanks for any help.
