Howdy...

On V5R1, you can issue a command line TELNET command specifying the remote
system name and specifying the RMTUSER parameter and then put in a valid
AS/400 User Profile on the TELNET command..and if the remote system Security
Value for Remote Signon is set to *SAMEPRF....you can allow a user to log on
to the remote system without having to sign on again. And everything's
groovy.

However...I just tried this on a V5R2 system and I'm forced to signon again
every time.

For the life of me, I can't figure out what is different between the two
systems...so I'm wondering if this might be a "feature" of V5R2. I searched
the IBM Knowledgebases, APARS and PTF Cover Letters...to no avail.

Anyone have knowledge of this or possible things to check?

Thanks!
