Hi Booth!
Speaking to this topic, _Java applications that run on the desktop,_
WDSc/Eclipse is SEU/SDA.  The look depends completely on the way you write
it, just like DDS.  The VaRPG example you cite is really a code-generator,
taking your layout grid as input.
