Hi Dale, I'm not familiar with JDE, but one option would be to create a PDM shortcut for your CHGLF command. CHGLF FILE(&L/&N) ACCPTHSIZ(*MAX1TB) Then just do a WRKOBJPDM against your JDE data library and enter the new shortcut for each file you want to change. If PDM's subsetting capability lets you target just the files you want to change, you can enter the shortcut once and press F13 to repeat for all the files in the list. You could change the shortcut to submit the CHGLF command to batch if that would help your processing. Another option would be to do a DSPOBJD of your JDE data library to an *OUTFILE and then write a CL program to process the outfile and perform the CHGLF. Hope this helps! We are running JD Edwards here and upgrading to V5R2 this weekend. One problem that JDE has is performance issues related to some new values. Seems that there can large performance hits if the logical files are not changed as shown: CHGLF FILE(F0003LA) ACCPTHSIZ(*MAX1TB) Well, there are at least 300 (out of 1000's) logicals that I should do this for immediately. Is there a different way to submit this command so to change/update more than one file at a time? FILE(F0003*) does not work. :( TIA Dale
