If the vendor's software is not playing well with the libraries that currently exist (and this appears to be the case since some calls are probably resolved in your QSYS38 lib rather than where the vendor wanted then to be resolved), then the Vendor should fix that issue. If the vendor does not correct their error in what 'library to use' then this problem may also occur after you remove QSYS38 (assuming a call previously resolved in QSYS38 resides in another library)...it could also happen later because you may add a call to a library above the vendors in the list, and once again, the vendor's software would not work correctly. If I've not done a good job of explaining this, it's because I'm a newbie, but I'm tickled that I do understand the jest of the problem?
