Haven't checked for an API lately. However I am doing what you are doing,
and it's worked for several years. I wrote the program using AS/SET and I
haven't touched that pig in years. And I wouldn't wish the source
generated on Saddam.

I need to have program monitor the queue depth shown in the WRKDSTQ
display
via a program. Unfortunately, WRKDSTQ does not have a *OUTFILE option
(we're at v5r1) and I can't seem to find an API that provides this
information.

Does anyone know how to obtain the information shown on the WRKDSTQ
display
programmatically? I'm currently doing a WRKDSTQ to a *PRINT file and then
doing a CPYSPLF and parsing it but this has its obvious drawbacks.

TIA,
Gary
