IMHO there is no limit on the IFS that does not apply to the system as a whole. We have more in our IFS (in multiples!) then what we have in DB2. I would verify that your DSPSYSSTS shows the 157G and the 60% used that you stated. Trying to say this right, but maybe your figures are dated. Some DSPLOG's might help to see if there are other messages dealing with system space in your QHST logs. You might verify this part of CPF3793, -- If your main storage size is 64M or higher, ensure the QMCHPOOL system value is 15 percent of the main storage size. If your main storage size is less than 64M, ensure the QMCHPOOL system value is 20 percent of the main storage size. Our machine pool is roughly 18% Sys Pool Pool Size M 1 2780.31 2 6258.88 3 2403.12 4 3313.41 5 244.26 Rob Berendt -- "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." I know nothing about IFS, so heres my question. A customer of ours is getting the error CPI0999, it is associated with the errors CPI099C, CAP0702, CPF3793. Thoughout the day they keep getting the error CPI0999. The system has 157G on it with 60% used. The threshold is set to 90%. It sounds like the IFS directory is getting filled up, since they got the CPF3793 error. How can I tell if it is and if so how can I deleted objects from there? The CPI0999 says to delete objects from the system, but I dont think that will do it if its not in the IFS directory.
