The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

Oliver, you've hit the exact problem - there is a need to have access to
data for ad hoc reporting, by qualified persons. I don't know the other
products as well as ours, so I will only say that we have a mechanism that
controls access on a group profile-like concept. Setup is quite simple -
simpler than some of the others, I believe. We think of it as not only
closing down access but also opening up access in a safe manner to those
who should have it.

Any of the tools are probably cost-effective over the time to create your
own - depends on your workload, obviously.

We have lots of user queries and CAX-downloads and all that stuff. How
complicated
does setting up and maintaining these security tools get?
So, without exit-point programming or buying some security product, I
cannot fix these
