Did you search for LPAR or partitioning?  Because Domino has something 
called partitioning.  And maybe the search engine was confused.

 I too have attended the 5 day class in Roch. MN.
 If your shop is doing more than one LPAR go to the class.
 If only one get outside help to set you up, and work with them to see how
to deal with the config.

 Has anyone taken the certification test for LPAR?
 The Cert. web site has a sample test but the link must be bad as all the
questions are on Domino.
