Simon, That will work fantastic. Handling this from the Client is not an option. I cannot control what client is being used. Only saw that message file in QTCP and not in QSYS. (V5R2). Change message TCP11AF in the QTCPMSGF file to read: 230 User logged on. That might satisfy your requirement. Note that QTCPMSGF appears in QTCP and QSYS and any NLS libraries you may have installed.
