I've used Mocha for the last two years. I find it's lightweight, speedy, easy to use, and easy to install, and has good NLV support. >Is it a BIG improvement over TN5250 ??? I don't know. Depends on what you mean by BIG. >What has been the list's experience with the software in >terms of setup and software stability ??? Setup=easy. Specify an IP address or host name and you're good to go. Specifying multiple configurations is also easy. Reliability=So far, so good. It's not perfect, of course. For example, there is no 'Cut' option on the Edit menu, which is bothersome to me. Their customer support is, well, terse. I think it's a small shop and they're constantly improving their stuff. However, the one bug I did find was resolved quickly, and they will listen to possible feature requests. I've used TN5250, and it's OK. I don't like it as well as Mocha because it doesn't have some of the features that I like, and since I'm a horrible C programmer, I'm not likely to develop any of the missing features. (No disrespect to Scott & Co who've developed TN5250. They've done stellar work; it's just not for me.) HTH -Doc __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
