Rob: Do you have any idea if same technique will work for a 3570-C01. We have one we SOMETIME need to share between 2 systems, and I usually just move the cable. It does have 2 ports on the drive. On the back of a 3590 you'll see two ports. We have a card in both machines that have a cable to that beast. On one machine you vary it off, and then vary it on the other machine. Workable for you?
