We just replaced our old HP color laser printer with a new HP Laserjet 2500L color printer on the network via TCP/IP (with an internal Jet Direct card), and now have a problem with it sporadically not printing one color on the invoices we print. Out of 100 invoices, 3-6 pages will be missing either the red OR the black portion of the invoice form. These misprinted invoices are scattered throughout the pile. If we reprint the same set of invoices, the same thing happens again but to DIFFERENT invoices than it originally happened to. If these invoices are printed to a different color printer, there is not this problem. The invoices are printed using the AS/400 spool file merged with a forms printing program called EZPrint, creating an ASCII document. Discussions with Tech Support at IBM, EZPrint, and HP have not provided a solution. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Help!!
