Eric, Frank, The official word that I got from Jon Paris was that it was created w/ good intentions (in order for disparate jobs to be able to share some resources), but as they began to use it, many problems showed up that were not resolved. The final word: Don't bother with it - it's not stable and should not be used. If this info is outdated, then I would like to know that details of how and when to use it, since it could have some interesting posibilities. -mark Original Message: ----------------- From: DeLong, Eric EDeLong@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Wed, 12 Mar 2003 08:27:40 -0600 To: midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: Shared activation group V5R1 Frank, Shared Activation Groups, its an IBM thing.
