Tom I handle part of the problem by doing a CHKTAP before the delay job, so I am shure a readable tape is in the tapedrive before leaving the building. You can also do the INZTAP before the delay. Maybe this helps. My question is . . why did the MONMSG on the INZTAP not trap this error and continue on? I want to add code to have an email generated, but if the error is not caught that code is useless.
