Thank you. Evidently the boss figured this out, because now the file has
no members.

QAYPSLOG file contains trace output.
It is only needed for problem determination.
Remove environment variable QYPS_TRACE (and restart *MGTC server).
This will stop the trace.

Subject: MSGCPA5305, Job QYPSSRV, file QUSRSYS/QAYPSLOG
Often we'll get a message CPA5305 regarding file QUSRSYS/QAYPSLOG:
Message . . . . : Record not added. Member QSRV476227 is full. (C I
9999)
Cause . . . . . : The maximum size has been reached for member
QSRV476227
file QAYPSLOG in library QUSRSYS. The record format is QAYPSLOG and the
member number is 1.
Granted we could just take various options to extend the file. But I have
some questions about this file.
The most pressing one is: Is there an official IBM method to clean out
this file? Currently it has 425 members. And several of them date from a
few years back.
In case you're wondering the first line from the offending member in this
message looks like:
*...+....1....+....2....+....3....+....4....+....5.
00000000000017[02/27 08:06:07] Management Central
...+....6....+....7....+....8....+....9....+....
C++ Server Trace - Job: 476227/QSYS/QYPSSRV
0....+....1....+....2.
System: GDISYS.dekko-1
