It would be a starting point for me to parse the NTP time protocol.  QTIME
is the hardware clock.  I may added the necessary API to set the hardware
clock more accurately than the sysval.  Would you mind open sourcing it?

I wrote the SNTP client that I use.

It gets the current time from a time server and then does a CHGSYSVAL
to set the time.  (Is that the software or hardware clock?)
Of course, this means I can only set it to the nearest second...  good

It's been awhile since I've looked at it.... I don't know off the top of
my head if I can share it, I'd have to look it over.   Should I look?
