RE: iseries 820 models

I'm in the middle of producing the newsletter for my LUG and the big story
is the January announcement.  From the materials I'm using it states.

 End-of-Life Planning Information

* Withdrawal from marketing Announcements
 * Upgrades from 720, 730, 740 to 820, 825, 830, 870, 890
   - Last day to order  8 October 2003

I know this doesn't exactly answer you question but it may help.
