V5R2 and Netserver and Win 98 -- MIDRANGE-L

Sensitivity:

I was reading the V5R2 upgrade blurb and saw
IBM has withdrawn support for Netserver on WIN95 PCs under V5R2.
Does  anyone know if Win98 PCs will be recognised by Netserver on V5R2,
or do I have to go to W2000.
If I have to go to Win2000 is it better to go to WinNT or even XP proff.
