I'm assuming that existing programs are working. We use data areas extensively here. When will they come out with the fix? This could be a real pain. Yesterday (2/10/03) I had to recompile an RPGLE program. The program uses a data area and guess what, when it executed I got a CPF1015 - data area not found. On the job log the data area was in reverse image and not identified. I placed a service call to IBM and was told that the V5R2 version of RPGLE was broken with regards to data areas. Recompiling the code at V4R5 eliminated the run time error. _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
