I'm assuming that existing programs are working. We use data areas
extensively here. When will they come out with the fix? This could be a
real pain.

Thanks,

We upgraded to V5R2 over the weekend (2/8/03 - 2/9/03). Yesterday
(2/10/03)
I had to recompile an RPGLE program. The program uses a data area and
guess
what, when it executed I got a CPF1015 - data area not found. On the job
log the data area was in reverse image and not identified. I placed a
service call to IBM and was told that the V5R2 version of RPGLE was broken
with regards to data areas.
Recompiling the code at V4R5 eliminated the run time error.
