We are finishing up a generic screen scraper program in VB,
that on specified events will call a DLL, which can be written
in VB6 (we have a skeleton program to use). Different DLLS
 for different events. I don't know if it is worth productizing this.
We are using it in our document imaging system, to avoid rekeying on input,
and to lookup images with particular 400 applications.

It looks like we will also be 'web scraping'(getting text from web browser
window)
for another customer.
