Al, It surprises me that QSYS2 is not backed up by SAVLIB *IBM, if that's what you're saying. My experience with QSYS2 is in writing APPC comms programs using the CPI-C APIs. You will see plenty of CM... programs in QSYS2, and a look at any of them shows "Created by user *IBM". Apparently there are other CPIs besides the one for comms, as not all the programs in there are CM... Anyway, I say that the library was put there by IBM, as part of what LICPGM I don't know. It is also full of IBM objects. If that doesn't make it an IBM library I don't know what does. -Marty -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@midrange.com [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@midrange.com] On Behalf Of Al Barsa Sent: Thursday, February 06, 2003 7:26 PM To: midrange-L@midrange.com Subject: QSYS2 Hi, In my last note, I determined from the help from SAVLIB *IBM that QSYS2 is not an IBM library. This comes to me as a surprise. Any comments? Al
