1) Reliable iSeries disk (even though I just had IBM in this morning replacing a RAIDed disk drive on a DSD that had a funky disk box in it that required the machine to be powered off). 2) Multiples of these on the same iSeries can be configured to communicate with each other over the bus instead of a line. Even with our 1gb ethernet switches we noticed significant speed increases. 3) Easy to power on/off remotely, simply use VRYCFG. Any more than that I'd have to ask around the office.
