May help here, may stick my foot in my mouth...here goes. 1. Yes for autocfg 2. If you're careful the pins can be straightened , needlenose pliers. If they break, call a cable guy, and get a new end.. 3. W/I reason, but I personally wouldn't go any further than 50 feet or so. hope this helps... Ken Shields
