It sounds like you fired yourself...

1) If they told you _not_ to write a CL program,
2)and you wrote one anyway,
3) then wrote an email (using the company's email) about it describing that
it might get your fired,
4) didn't you think that they might find out?

I'm sorry you got fired, but it might turn out to be a blessing in
disguise...I don't think I would want to work for a company like them...
