While agreeing that going to V5R2 is a good option I have to say that when we did V5R1 in December it was rather smooth. We had a 720-2063 with lots of LP's (Domino, Websphere Advanced, etc.), probably average use of SQL, and lot's of 3rd party tools. For me it was actually one of my less painful upgrades. It was rather lengthy but issues afterwards were rather nonexistent. Lately, SQL and AFP have been rather painful issues after an upgrade and we had not a one. I hate to add more question marks to the situation but thought I'd pass on that at this time it one might consider some of the V5R1 issues as being in the past.
