Joe,

Remove as many spool files as you can before starting the upgrade! The 2nd
IPL in the automatic upgrade process (after the OS has been loaded) will
take forever otherwise. It converts the format of all spool files on the
system, and I've seen the spool file initialisation step of this IPL take
4hrs on its own.
