While we're on the subject of DHCP, I had to have the Network guy establish a static ip address for the /400 and Just about everytime I boot my pc, the network assigns a new ip address to my pc, and I have to make certain there is an ip interface defined on the /400 for my pc.(CFGTCP) We're at V4R3M0, using CA V3R2. It's a real pain having to do this every day, I can only assume, that CA Express and any new release of the /400 has cleared up this problem. There would appear to be, a lack of communication often, between the user community and the people setting up and maintaining the Network. It doesn't pose a production problem, or operational problem of any great concern, because my machine is a 150 development box. I feel sorry for the people who start having this problem on production boxes. Ken Shields Oshawa systems group Works 81, Oshawa Ontario (
