Yep John,

Got it today and thought it was pretty cool (and actually mentioned
iSeries !). I used to do graphic design and layout work (before entry
into the computer field) and thought this was really nice.

Our CE was in working on our tape drive from hell (we think it might
finally be fixed so I guess IBM won't be giving me a new one of a
different model for free...) and I showed it to him and he liked it too
:-)

No, No,  No   you guys are missing what I am saying.

I got a SNAIL MAIL  Post card from IBM about server consolidation.

The 2D picture is a bunch of PC servers in one view and the other view
is a single iSeries machine.

Meaning 50-100 PC server's can be replace by a single iSeries.

That's it.    It wasn't about running Linux on the iSeries or running
WinTel on the iSeries.

It implied.....    trade in all those PC servers and get ONE AS/400  !

Nobody else got this Snail Mail Post Card?
