I use iSeries Navigator to do this..

Go to "File Systems" on your selected connection and expand it.

Expand "Integrated File Systems"

Expand "Root" and you will see your folder.

Right-click on it...got to "Sharing"....click "New Share"

Complete the form and Click "OK"

Click on "File Shares"

Right-click on "Map Network Drive"

Select a drive letter and click "OK"

You should then be able to see this network drive with Explorer or in "My
Computer"
