Did something change in the OS regarding the Source Date field in Source Files?

I have a utility I use occassionally use that sets the source date of a member
based upon selection critera to a different value, eg: set all to 0 where the
date is less than 021231. This worked fine on V4R5 where it would even catch
the years 99 and earlier, but on V5R2 it doesn't recognize that the year 02 is
greater than the year 99. I know that when I went from V3R2 to V4R5, the year
that was used as the logical divider between 1900 and 2000 was changed, but now
it looks like there isn't a logical divider.

If I override a source file to a specific member and then SQL that file, it
sorts the source date just as if there isn't any "hidden" logic behind the
dates. Could someone on a release prior to V5R2 verify that it sorts source
dates according to the logical century?
