There used to be a manual that listed all the messages in gruesome
detail. I suppose it's still available.
Most of the time you can find the messages you need while keying your
CLP source-- Prompt the command (F4), move the cursor to the top
line of the screen, then press Help (F1). You are now looking at all
of the help for the command.
The first few lines are a general description of the command. Next
comes a list of all the message IDs you can monitor for-- with enough
text to describe what they do.
If you need to see a particular command, from any command line use
command DSPCMDD (my spelling might be off...). Prompt, then key the
message ID. Press ENTER, and you'll see all of the text for the
message.

Is there an easy way on the AS400 to list all possible message id's
(i.e. CPF1063) and what they mean? Is there a manual that lists them
all?
