We currently use IBM's Infoprint Server V5R2 to email spool files to various addresses based on a control file that is evaluated by the exit program defined in the PSF configuration object. We set the email disposition (a parm to the exit program) to '0' because the exit program is actually performing the send email function. My question is, if the emailing exit program should fail to come up with a valid address, is there a way to put the spool file on hold or save? I've tried to have the exit program perform a CHGSPLFA or a HLDSPLF, but I get a message back saying that the job doesn't have access to the spool file.
