You are confusing RTF with RFT.  RTF is Rich Text Format, while RFT is Revisable
Format Text, short for DCA-RFT (Document Content Architecture, Revisable Format
Text).

Most OV/400 documents will be DCA-RFT or DCA-FFT (Final Format Text).  It will
look like garbage if viewed on a PC without translation.

MS Word should have an import conversion for RFT, though it may not be installed
by default.  It should handle the text and some of the basic formatting, but may
not be a 100% conversion of all features.
