- Add the keyword CHGPERIOD(*LASTSAVE) - like in:

 SAV    DEV('/QSYS.LIB/TAP01.DEVD')
             OBJ(('/*') ('/QSYS.LIB' *OMIT) ('/QDLS' *OMIT))
             UPDHST(*YES)
             ENDOPT(*LEAVE)
             CHGPERIOD(*LASTSAVE)
