Chuck: Are you doing LU2.1 or LU6.2? Sounds to me like you are doing LU6.2. In this case you have 2 controller descriptions involved. You should have an APPC controller and a RWS (remote work station controller). Did you allow the system to autoconfig the Remote Work Station controllers? If so, I believe they auto configure with a parameter that define whether or not they drop off line after all devices disconnect. (Sorry I don't have access to a system at the moment so I can't verify the parm). I suspect this is your problem. cjg Carl J.
